Anders Benson lives in the mountains of western Maine with his wife and their menagerie of pets. Having always enjoyed the outdoors, he is a state-certified wilderness survival instructor.His love of travel led him to spend time in North America, Europe, and North Africa. He has held held a variety of occupations including welding and steel fabrication, pet care service, and railroad car mechanics. He spends his free time hiking, skiing and snowboarding, whitewater canoeing, and hunting. He has a wide array of interests and enjoys practicing long-range marksmanship and reading about history and theoretical physics.
