I’m a young father.

A Masters  Degree candidate

A poor teaching

Assistant with a copy of  Huckleberry Finn

And a MLA style sheet.

I’m not really anybody. No   One…

Hidden in caps and gowns and test papers.

But I’m so in Love!

Ecstatic, flying my son

Around in his little

Airplane Desk.

The Easter Eggs my

Wife paints so suggestively

Are trashed in poverty

And the barren lines of a

Cynical short story I write.
