Crouched

Into our immediate details

We weigh a moment

Seriously

Vagabonds

Each in our worlds

We separate the

Finite from the infinite

The tangible from

That which is out of reach

Determining where we stand

In-between

As if space and infinity

Could be pegged

Or defined

We have soluble desires

On this we agree

A sneeze into the void

A kiss across distances

Are met with

Forgettable ennui

As we pick up

The repository

Of our hopes

Submitting

Sending

Clicking

Further into

The abyss.

  One Response to “Laptop”

  1. I’m finicky about poetry, but find this is a combination of things I like — surreal and intellectual, and evocative. Strong Like. Thanks.
