The second-place winner of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters 2013 Fiction Contest, Rudy Koshar has short stories in Gravel, Wilderness House Literary Review, Revolution House, Forge, Eclectica, Thunder Sandwich, Wisconsin People & Ideas, and other magazines. He’s written or edited seven books on modern European history and has received Guggenheim and numerous other fellowships. He teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
