Lily Iona MacKenzie lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where she teaches writing at the University of San Francisco. She writes poetry, fiction, book reviews, critical and personal essays, and travel articles. Her work has been published in numerous Canadian and American venues, including Malahat Review, Tampa Review, Travelers Tales, Cottage Magazine, Anima, Psychological Perspectives, B.C.
