Dennis Kennedy is a well-known theatre historian with a number of books, the latest two being The Oxford Companion to Theatre and Performance, and The Spectator and the Spectacle. He also works as a playwright and theatre director. In fiction, one novel is completed and second underway. His story “War Babies” is in the current issue of Witness (spring 2013) and “Underway Replenishment” will appear in the next issue of War, Literature, and the Arts. American by birth and upbringing, he now lives in Dublin and France.
